Pianist, accompanist, and collaborative musician, Charlotte Roberts has performed both in Australia and internationally. A graduate with a Bachelor of Music with Honours from The University of Melbourne, where she majored in Classical Piano Performance, Charlotte frequently participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians and collaborated with various instrumentalists. She now performs regularly at private and public events, sharing her artistry through solo recitals, chamber music, and accompanying performances.

Charlotte Roberts is a distinguished Melbourne-based pianist who is a regular performer and experienced teacher. Charlotte graduated with her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from The University of Melbourne in 2024, majoring in Classical Piano Performance, where she worked with various internationally recognised musicians.
Charlotte is now undertaking a Masters of Opera as a Répétiteur and Vocal Coach, with plans to travel and further her studies overseas.

Charlotte’s musical journey began at the age of six under the tutelage of Shaun Jones at Ruyton Girls’ School, where she studied for several years. She was the conductor of ensembles and was frequently involved in school chamber music. Charlotte was subsequently awarded the Dux of Music Performance at Ruyton whilst completing her AMEB Grade 8 examination.Charlotte has performed both in Australia and internationally. She was recently invited to perform Chile in the city of Iquique performing a unique four hands concert. She regularly performs in Melbourne around various venues such as the Melbourne Recital Centre and Hansen Dyer Hall, alongside private salon-style soirees. She has participated in masterclasses led by renowned figures in the music world, including Leslie Howard, Alexander Peskanov, Ian Holtham, and Jerry Wong. She is now working with Toccata Classic to record and premiere the entire collection of works for 6-hands by Alexander Peskanov.In addition to her performance schedule and academic pursuits, Charlotte is passionate about inspiring her students to share their love of music and offers piano lessons to all ages and abilities. Charlotte can guide students through AMEB exams and offers many performances opportunities to those who are interested.

Charlotte offers lessons tailored to students’ levels and goals, whether preparing for AMEB exams, recitals, or leisurely learning. With a focus on technique, musicality, and building positive relationships, Charlotte strives to create an engaging and supportive environment that empowers students to achieve their musical potential.

Charlotte teaches from her home studio in Fitzroy located on George on her Kawai Grand Piano. She holds student concerts various times a year, both in her home and in public spaces.

Collaborative Pianist

Charlotte is available for accompanying at all levels for both AMEB and VCE exams and public performance.Charlotte can also accompany choirs, vocalists and other chamber musicians.

Artistic director

Alongside her work as a pianist, teacher, and accompanist, Charlotte is the Artistic Director at St Mark’s Church in Fitzroy. This role brings together her passion for performance, collaboration, and community engagement. She curates and present a monthly concert series, held on the last Sunday of each month, which showcases a diverse range of performers - from emerging artists to established musicians - across a variety of classical and contemporary styles. Each concert is designed to foster connection between performers and audiences, while contributing to the church’s vibrant cultural life.As Artistic Director, Charlotte works closely with performers, church staff, and members of the local community to ensure each event is thoughtfully programmed, professionally run, and artistically fulfilling. Her work in this role creates opportunities for meaningful musical exchange, supports local talent, and enriches the artistic landscape of Fitzroy. It is a deeply rewarding extension of my broader musical practice.
